So führst du sie aus
- 1Preparation and positioning. Use stable parallettes, bars, or floor support with enough clearance for the legs. Check wrist tolerance and rehearse a controlled foot-down exit.
- 2Entry. Press down through straight arms, lift the hips, and bring the legs together without jumping. Build the shape from a tuck if needed.
- 3Hold position. Keep elbows extended, shoulders depressed and controlled, and lift straight legs above horizontal toward the torso. Maintain active hip flexion and knee extension without forcing the spine into a painful position.
- 4Shape standard. Keep the feet together, knees straight to the chosen standard, and hips clear of the supports; do not count a hold produced by repeated leg swings.
- 5Breathing and bracing. Use short controlled breaths while maintaining abdominal compression. Do not let breath-holding substitute for position control.
- 6Exit. Lower the feet and hips under control before the shoulders or wrists collapse; step away only after weight is back on the feet.
- 7Valid hold. Timing starts when the hips are clear and the prescribed leg angle is stable, and ends when the feet touch, knees bend beyond the allowed standard, hips drop, or elbow/shoulder support fails.
Häufige Fehler
Hips resting on the supports
Korrektur: Press down through straight arms and confirm the pelvis is fully clear before timing.
Knees bending to preserve height
Korrektur: Use a tuck or lower leg angle that you can hold with the programmed knee standard.
Shoulders collapsing forward
Korrektur: Keep the neck long and maintain controlled shoulder depression without losing elbow extension.
Leaning back instead of compressing
Korrektur: Lift from active hip flexion and abdominal compression rather than turning the hold into a reclined balance.
Sicherheit
- For adolescents, older beginners, or anyone new to this movement, progress by technical competence and use qualified supervision rather than age-based loading targets or forced maximal attempts.
- Choose a load, range, and setup that permit a controlled return or exit; stop the set rather than compensating through sharp or progressively worsening symptoms.
Progressionen & Alternativen
- RegressionL-Sit— Reduce strength, balance, or coordination demand while rehearsing the key pattern before returning to V-Sit.
- ProgressionV-Sit Press-to-Handstand— Increase load, range, instability, or skill demand after V-Sit is repeatable through the planned volume with reserve and no technique drift.
- AlternativeHanging Straight-leg Raise— Train a similar primary pattern with a different stability, equipment, or joint-loading profile when V-Sit is impractical or poorly tolerated.
